October Full Moon

Yesterday, we could observe another splendid full moon. I like full moons, every single time. Perhaps you can call me a lunatic. Whatever, enjoy my photo.

This current October is a rare one, according to the Internet, in as much as it has 5 Fridays, 5 Saturdays and 5 Sundays, all in one month. Whilst the latter is true, that is nothing rare whatsoever. Don’t believe it when claims are being made that this happens only once in 823 years. 5 Fridays, 5 Saturdays and 5 Sundays, all in one month, will happen again in July 2011, and that’s only 251 days away.

The nights are getting chillier now, here in Mallorca. More rain is forecast for today, at least here in Felanitx, wanting to celebrate the annual Fira del Pebre Bord. Also today, the pueblo of Consell will be busy celebrating its annual Fira de Tardor, today combined with a Fira del Vi. The wine fair happens to be under cover, in case you wanted to go there in the rain.

Inca, on the other hand, will celebrate its 1ª Fira today, including lots of traditional crafts, plants and antique farmyard carts. Inca will also hold a Campionat de Cavalls de Pura Raça (pure breed horse show), today. In all, Inca will hold three firas in the run-up to Dijous Bo on Thursday, November 18th.

The photo was taken in Felanitx, Spain. The date: October 23rd, 2010. The time was 21:19:24.
