The island of Mallorca, Spain, offers about 26 lighthouses, called faros, to the seafaring community. That number includes two faros each on Isla Dragonera and on the Archipelago of Cabrera. This photo was taken near the lighthouse of Cap de ses Salines, between Santanyi and Colònia de Sant Jordi. On the rocky cliffs there, visitors create offerings in the form of carefully balanced pebble totems.
The photo was chosen from my archive. It was taken near the lighthouse of Ses Salines, Mallorca. The date: January 7th, 2007. The time was 16:23:35.
