A Stroll Along the Ramblas

ramblas.jpg

The Ramblas in Palma de Mallorca cannot compete with the more famous ones in Barcelona if you know what I mean. However, both of them are well suited for a leisurely stroll, admiring the colourful flower stalls.

In Palma, the Ramblas de los ducs de Palma, are a bit easier on the nerves, though. On the Barcelona Ramblas you have to attentively watch out for pick-pockets, whilst on the Palma Ramblas you can amble like a normal, civilized person. Traffic is not so life-threatening in Palma, as it is in Barcelona. And the noise level is easier on the ears, here in Palma, as well.

The photo was taken in Palma de Mallorca, Spain. The date: December 13th, 2007. The time was 10:13:46.
