May 1st is something like the unofficial beginning of the tourist season in Mallorca. In addition, as this year the holiday is falling on a Thursday, this marks the first day of a four day puente.

The three Balearic airports (Palma, Mahon and Ibiza) expect to say Hello, or Goodbye, to something like 350,000 tourists between today and Sunday. Let the party begin.
