West Coast Sea View

Halfway between Valldemossa and Deià you can find a place with a stunning sea view. Fittingly, the place is called Miramar (sea view), a finca that in the 14th Century belonged to Mallorcan mystic, Ramon Llull, and in the 19th Century was bought by the Austrian Archduke Ludwig Salvador, author of Die Balearen.

The Austrian nobleman is quoted as saying, ‘without doubt no other place on earth deserves with more reason the name of Miramar’. You best judge for yourself.

The photo was taken near Valldemossa, Mallorca, Baleares, Spain. The date: March 16th, 2008. The time was 15:06:48.
