The Ermita de la Victòria is a small monasterio in the north of Mallorca, near Alcúdia, dating from around 1400. The building was restored and fortified in ca. 1700. About ten years ago, monastic functions ceased. The monastery church is still used for the occasional service but, the monks have moved out for good.

Now, accommodation is provided for tourists, travelers and hikers by a small hotel group that has converted the monks’ cells into quite comfortable guest rooms, each with adjoining bathrooms. The monastery is now called Petit Hotel Hostatgeria La Victòria. If you love nature, peace and quiet, walks and hikes, and need a bit of a sojourn away from it all, this place will show you Mallorca from one of its best sides.
