A Place Steeped in History

Mallorca is a place steeped in history. And so is the island capital, Palma de Mallorca. Here you see a detail from the patio of Castell de Bellver, built between 1309 and 1311 A. D. for Rey Jaume II, when Mallorca was a proper kingdom.

The photo was chosen from my archive. It was taken in Palma de Mallorca. The date: January 17th, 2006. The time was 17:37:01.
