Even though Spain has new Anti-Smoking laws in effect for more than 18 months, there are many loopholes.
Smoking is not allowed in bars or restaurants or anywhere with food being served, except for ….. There seem to be more exceptions than not. For instance, if a restaurant has less than 100 sq ms of floor space, the proprietor can opt out of the No-Smoking ban, as apparently was done at this restaurant in Felanitx. You won’t see me eating there any more.
