A Place Under the Sun

beach.jpg

When one thinks of beaches on the island of Mallorca, most people would think of Arenal or Magalluf. Crowded beaches, they are.

If you don’t go for the obvious, you might want to go where the locals go. Like here, to the beach of Molinar, in Portixol, just outside of Palma de Mallorca. No lager louts, no discos, no tiketeros; instead, all sun and sea and quiet. And 28º Celcius, at 18h40.

The photo was taken in Portixol, Palma de Mallorca, Baleares, Spain. The date: September 3rd, 2007. The time was 18:40:56.
