Higher and Higher and Higher

PMI Palma International Airport has reported an all-time record month last August, with 3,284,225 passengers either landing or taking off.

The best way to understand such a figure is to divide it by half. It means that approximately 1,642,112 passengers arrived on the island of Mallorca during the month of August by air, and supposedly left it again in a similar fashion.

I am not too sure that this continuous record breaking increase in popularity does this small Mediterranean island much good in the long run.

The photo was taken at PMI airport in Palma de Mallorca. The date: September 21st, 2007. The time was 18:54:22.
