Quaint Garden in Ariany

Not many people make their way to Ariany, a small agricultural town between Santa Margalida and Petra.

A shame really. The pueblo sits nicely elevated on a hilltop and from this Mirador de sa Creu, one has a nice view over the pleasing landscape. Unless you went yesterday, as I did, when we were suffering from yet more heavy rain. But, let me tell you, Mallorca is a beautiful island once the rain has stopped and everything looks lush and green and fertile.

I’ll be back some other day to revisit the quaint gardens of the parochial church, Església de Mare de Déu d’Atotxa.

The photo was taken in Ariany, Mallorca, Baleares, Spain. The date: June 11th, 2008. The time was 11:21:13.
