The King’s Garden

short_del_rei.jpg

The island of Mallorca, Spain, has a wonderful array of gardens at our disposal. The island capital, Palma de Mallorca, is no exception.

The Jardins de s’Horts del Rei, pictured here, can be found in the Passeig Antoni Maura, right underneath the Almudaina Palace, near the Cathedral in Palma. The gardens are a little oasis of peace and quiet, especially now, since the pedestrian zones have been widened and traffic seems to be much much restrained.

The photo was chosen from my archive. It was taken in Palma de Mallorca. The date: January 3rd, 2006. The time was 17:44:49.
