Bird-Watching And Some

egret.jpg

The wetlands in the Northeast of the island, between Alcúdia and Can Picafort, are called Parc Natural de s’Albufera.

The park is well known as a bird-watcher’s paradise. But that is only half the story. Nature lovers can also find here turtles, frogs, toads, bats, reptiles, fish, eels, mammals and invertebrates.

If you are not into animals, you could still enjoy a walk in perfect peace and harmony, just being away from all the hectic that life so often offers us.

The photo was taken near the town of Alcúdia, Mallorca, Spain. The date: November 4th, 2007. The time was 17:38:29.
