Last Sunday we headed to Cala Magraner on the east coast, not far from Porto Cristo, to do some abseiling. A good rock wall can be found in the Xorics sector which seems popular amongst Mallorcan rock climbers, and visitors alike from abroad. The more astute abseileros amongst my readers might want to check for more information on this useful rock climbing website.
If you want to go yourself, make sure that you know what you are doing. Do not attempt to impress your partner or your friends unless you have had proper climbing training. I did not climb myself last Sunday, or indeed, ever, but my youngest son did, as did some of our German friends.
Both photos were taken by my friend, Kathrin Breuer.
The photos were taken in Cala Magraner, Mallorca, Spain. The date: June 30th, 2007. The time was 13:08:27 and 14:18:42, respectively. Vielen Dank, Kathrin.
Hola!!
I love Mallorca and I know some places there, east and west coast: they are wonderful! … but I’ve never climbed in that island until now. I’m sure I’ll go again to visit my friends and to do some inspiring routes 🙂
Are you mallorquì?
bye
