Almudaina Palace Museum

almudaina.jpg

You can visit this lovely courtyard at the Palau Reial de l’Almudaina which is the official seat of King Juan Carlos I when in Mallorca (not his home, just his palace for state functions and such like). The palace is open to the public as a museum when no such function is in progress.

The Royal Palace is preserved under the Spanish Patrimonio Nacional (i. e. National Heritage) and is as such administered from Madrid, and not Palma de Mallorca.

Every week, on Wednesdays, entry admission is waived for EU residents. Summer opening hours are from 10h00 to 17h45 (April 1st to September 30th). Regular admission and for other proveniences is 3.20 €.

The photo was taken in Palma de Mallorca, Baleares, Spain. The date: April 2nd, 2008. The time was 13:31:23.
