November is the time to pay our dues. Once a year, the local Ajuntament (town hall) in Mallorca expects us to pay up the amounts due for IBI (equivalent to Poll Tax), car tax, refuse collection and sewage waste tax. Rates have gone up this year in most municipalities, though.
