El moli d’En Polit is an old corn mill in Manacor that was lovingly restored to its former glory, in 2001.
Today the old mill functions as a citizens advice bureau for the people of Manacor and is run by the Ajuntament de Manacor (the local town hall).
Some other former corn mills all over the island have been done up as well; some serve as restaurants, others are rented out for holiday accomodation.
All former windmills in Mallorca have now been granted protection as buildings of historic interest. Finally.
