I am happy, and somewhat proud, to let you know that today is the fourth anniversary of this Mallorca Daily Photo Blog.
Since Sunday, June 10th, 2007, I have posted photos and blog entries on a regular daily basis. That makes 1,462 days by now with 1,462 shorter or sometimes longer stories about life in Mallorca, at times informative, at times entertaining and sometimes perhaps even somewhat eccentric. In all, there were 2,076 photos and images.
There also were 937 readers’ comments. Thank you for stopping by now and then, or even on a regular basis. Without you, the blog would have been meaningless.
The photo was chosen from my archive. It was taken at the Parc Natural s’Albufera de Mallorca, near Alcúdia, Mallorca, Baleares, Spain. The date: November 4th, 2007. The time was 18:26:37.

Just discovered this blog – excellent! As an ex-ex-pat who has had to return to UK for family reasons (but still owns a home in Mallorca) it is a wonderful reminder of why I like and miss Mallorca so much.

I too look every day from Andorra where I am usually jealous of the weather and wonderful things to do there. However, I hope life will improve shortly because we are trying to buy a property there.
PS: Is there a patchworker in your family, or are those squares by the replies just a wordpress thing?

Happy anniversary! I’m sorry I missed the exact date. I’m a day behind, forgive me, and anniversaries should not be forgotten. Anyway, I do love your blog and follow you daily. I hope to keep on spreading the word among younger generations in my school. But it is not just that your posts are an endless source of information about Majorca, I often share your point of view and I enjoy reading you. People around me other than my students have also become addicts. You’ve reached the far north, and I will visit you and Majorca daily this summer vacation from Stockholm.
