Only yesterday, I was talking about Winter and the first snow this year. Today I am happy to tell you about the first signs of Spring. Weird, really.

When I was out on a walk yesterday afternoon, under a very blue sky, I saw the first almond blossoms of the season. Only, the season does not really start until next January or even February. The earliest that I have ever seen almond blossoms over the last twenty years was just before or just after Christmas. That’s five weeks to go, isn’t it? In my books, it is quite a bit strange to see almond blossoms in the middle of November, what do you think?
