One day, you might want to visit a beautiful house in Palma de Mallorca. I suggest you treat yourself to a visit of the Fundación Bartolomé March.
The building is called Palau Reial; it is situated right next to the Parlament building in Palma. The Fundación houses an array of most interesting collections that are for public viewing at a token entry fee of 4,80 €.
You will find an impressive collection of modern art sculptures, including works by Henry Moore, Eduardo Chillida, Max Bill, Barbara Hepworth and Auguste Rodin. You can also appreciate some fine examples of rare 15th century cartographic works.
And with Christmas coming up, you might want to enjoy a stunning display of a 18th Century Neapolitan Nativity Scene with more than 2,000 figures.
Opening hours are Tuesday to Friday, 10h00 to 18h00, and Saturday from 10h00 to 14h00.
The premises can also be hired for functions. If you have a wedding coming up, for instance, you might want to pay a visit and check it out.
The photo was chosen from my archive. It was taken in Palma de Mallorca, Spain. The date: January 11th, 2005. The time was 16:21:22.
