Quo Vadis?

Should you ever come to this crossroad of steps in the old town of Palma de Mallorca, you might ask yourself the question Quo vadis? (Latin for: Where are you going?). Well, you could either go up into Carrer de la Midonera, on your left, or up into Carrer de las Corralasses, to your right.

Either way, you would be in the Barrio of the Puig de Sant Pere, just east of the Bastiò de Sant Pere, now better known as Es Baluard Museu d’art modern i contemporani de Palma. Sant Pere, with the nearby beautiful church of Santa Creu, going back to the 14th Century, is an authentic, old neighbourhood that inspires you to have a nice stroll, either uphill or downhill.

The photo was taken in Palma de Mallorca, Baleares, Spain. The date: February 12th, 2008. The time was 14:41:38.
