Cumulonimbus Clouds

cumulonimbus

I would like to show you the image of some amazingly dramatic Cumulonimbus clouds that hung over Felanitx yesterday, an otherwise nice and sunny day. At least, Cumulonimbus is the cloud formation that I believe it was. I particularly liked the crepuscular sun rays behind the dark cloud.

What looked like a heavy shower coming down over the pueblo any time soon, never materialised. We were lucky. And the weather forecast for Mallorca is good, too: sun all day today and tomorrow. Good.

The photo was was taken in Felanitx, Mallorca, Baleares, Spain. The date: March 10th, 2009. The time was 11:17:58.
