We have been very lucky lately with the weather, here in Mallorca. Yesterday, a rather pretty formation of Cirrocumulus clouds could be observed in the late afternoon, as seen here over the harbour of Portocolom, in the east of the island. Ah … the alluring language of clouds!
Yes, we had some heavy winds in some parts of Mallorca over the last few days, but the weather alert is now back to normal. Today and tomorrow, some rain is forecast, with the first snow of 2010 being predicted for Wednesday above 1,200 m and for Thursday, above 700 m. The forecast for Friday and Saturday is for snow above 200 m, with temperatures dropping considerably.
The photo was taken in Portocolom, Mallorca, Baleares, Spain. The date: January 3rd, 2010. The time was 16:58:04.
