Nostalgia. A sentimental longing for things one remembers from the past. Images or sounds of yesteryear. Smells from the childhood. Impressions that are indelibly engraved in our memory of times before globalisation hit us, before Climate Change set in, before La Crisis made us suffer loss of employment or lack of income, before the estado de alarma had us entrust our lives to the Fuerzas Armadas, before the harshness of modern reality took us in its grip.

Perhaps the pharmaceutical bottles in today’s photo make me feel sentimental. Or is it the Christmas decorations everywhere? Or is it the snow in the Tramuntana? Is it Winter in Mallorca before its time?

I have you know that the weather forecast in Mallorca predicts an increase in temperatures from 9° C (yesterday) to 16° C next Tuesday. Yeah.
