March 8th is celebrated as International Women’s Day. I think that is quite a nice custom but really, I believe women should be revered everyday of the year.
The Casa de Cultura in Felanitx opens a photographic exhibition tonight to coincide with this Día de la Mujer. There will also be a round table discourse with the participation of female guests from Peru, Morocco, Japan and Mallorca, at 19h30. The topic: The Situation of Women Today (in Felanitx, Mallorca and the world). Hmm.
