Sharing Food With the Angels

sant_blai.jpg

Sunday, March 30th, you have a chance to do as the Mallorcans do. All you have to do is prepare some homemade panades or rubiols and take them to the Ermita de Sant Blai, just south of Campos del Port.

Every year on the Sunday after Easter, the Diumenge de l’àngel is celebrated by the folks of Campos, and visitors are welcome to join in the festivities. If you want to know about what, when and where, you could ring for information on 971.650.871.

The cosy oratory is dating back to the 15th Century. The erstwhile cemetery has been converted to a lush Mediterranean garden.

The photo was taken near Campos del Port, Mallorca, Spain. The date: March 26th, 2008. The time was 12:39:12.
