Waiting For the Doctor

eye_hospital.jpg

The time spent waiting in a doctor’s surgery, or even in a hospital, is hardly ever a pleasant wait. But, at least it might give you a nice photo opportunity.

Talking about the health service, you would be surprised how good that is in Spain. Actually, I don’t know about Spain, but Mallorca as part of the Spanish Health Service is certainly up to scratch. There are currently 22 hospitals in the Balearic Islands, with a total of 3,488 beds, of which 16 hospitals are in Mallorca. Plus there are 118 additional ambulant Health Centres in the Autonomous Region.

The photo was taken in Manacor, Mallorca, Spain. The date: March 26th, 2008. The time was 15:33:17.
