We spent a few days away, last weekend. The weather was gorgeous as you know (seems to have changed now, just in time for Easter).

What made the weekend away so particularly splendid, for me that is, was the total silence, the quietness, the peaceful absence of noise. What utter luxury for the soul.

If you would want to get away from it all, and mostly away from the noise and the bustle, I can warmly recommend the Santuari de Lluc in the wondrous Tramuntana mountain range. This very Easter weekend Lluc is booked solidly, but from next week on you should be able to have a reservation accepted.
